
Job Title: Logistics & Delivery Support Specialist
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Hours/Status: Full Time
Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00/Hourly
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery Duties:
• Communicate weekly with the Bakery Manager and Procurement Specialist regarding delivery needs and schedules.
• Obtain vehicle keys and follow established vehicle sign-out, inspection, and maintenance procedures.
• Pick up invoices and load prepared boxes into the delivery truck accurately and safely.
• Deliver bakery products to designated locations, ensuring timeliness and care during transit.
• Collect payments or secure signed invoices at time of delivery.
• Submit receipts and collected funds to the Holy Childhood business office at the end of each delivery day.
• Refer any invoice, account, or product discrepancies to the Procurement Specialist immediately.
• Accommodate expanded delivery hours during peak holiday seasons as required.
• Maintain professional and respectful interaction with all customers and clients.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and practices.
Shipping Dock Support:
• Serve as backup support for dock operations, including loading and unloading deliveries.
• Stage incoming materials and finished goods for proper warehouse organization.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and orderliness on the dock.
• Follow all safety protocols when handling materials and using dock equipment.
Other Duties:
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous delivery or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and have a strong work ethic.
• Assist with coordination of FIFO in raw materials, subassemblies, and finished goods
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Regular driving in varied weather conditions.
• Physical labor to include loading/unloading trucks and moving inventory.
• Occasional extended hours during peak periods (e.g., holidays).
