Job Title: Bakery Production Team Member
Reports To: Bakery Manager
Hours/Status: Full/Part-time/Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $16.50 - $25.00/hour
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepares products for customers by packaging, and labeling the products
• Effectively balances and completes tasks while ensuring customer orders are completed on time
• Thaws, bakes, fills, and packages baked goods
• Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in supply rooms and other areas
• Combines measured ingredients in bowls of mixing, blending, or cooking machinery.
• Sets time and speed controls for mixing machines in accordance to instructions.
• Marks stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Follows core recipes and techniques when making a variety of creams and fillings
• Properly handles products, uses equipment, keeps accurate logs and follows sanitation practices in accordance with
food and human safety guidelines
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes and silverware
• Follows production lists when prioritizing and completing tasks, utilize job aides when preparing all products at the
correct times throughout the day
• Supports, encourages, and respects co-workers
• Works with supervisor to set and achieve goals
• Complies with policies and work rules as well as federal and state laws
• Maintains open lines of communication with supervisors and coworkers to ensure the most efficient operations in
the department.
• Must be sensitive to the cultural diversity of others and facilitate trusting relationships and partnerships with board
members, vendors, and co-workers.

QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work in team environment. Ability to follow directions. Ambition to learn.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
No experience required. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work involves exposure to various temperatures and equipment including coolers, freezers and ovens. Work requires safe and proper handling of cooking and baking utensils including knives.
