
Job Title: Bakery Production - Sanitation & Reset Crew Member
Reports To: Bakery Manager
Hours/Status: Full Time/ Hours (tentatively 10am – 6:30pm, times may be adjusted to fit production needs)
Salary Range: $16.48 - $20.00
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Production & Operational Duties:
• Assist with general bakery production tasks such as thawing, baking, filling, and packaging baked goods as needed.
• Combine and mix ingredients per recipe specifications.
• Accurately label, tag, and organize product and inventory.
End-of-Shift Cleaning & Reset Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, tools, and work areas.
• Disassemble production lines and machinery in preparation for cleaning.
• Clean and sanitize bakery floors, walls, surfaces, and drains according to sanitation SOPs.
• Reassemble equipment and production lines to ensure full readiness for the next day’s production.
• Conduct final inspections to verify cleanliness and equipment functionality.
• Safely handle and properly store all cleaning supplies and sanitation equipment.
General Expectations:
• Maintain accurate cleaning logs and follow checklists.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Report any equipment issues, damage, or safety hazards immediately.
• Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and mutual respect.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning protocols.
- Mechanical aptitude for assembling/disassembling equipment is a plus.
- Previous experience in sanitation, janitorial, or production reset roles preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
No experience required. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work will be performed in varied temperature environments including coolers, freezers, and hot production areas. The role involves handling cleaning agents, tools, and sharp utensils, and requires physical activity such as lifting, kneeling, and reaching.
